Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-26. This is a working draft prepared ahead of GigDriverProfit's public launch and has not yet been reviewed by counsel (state/apps/gigdriverprofit.yaml's legal_gate). It describes the product's locked design decisions honestly; wording may still change before launch.

The short version

GigDriverProfit reads gig-delivery offer notifications on your own phone, from apps you choose, to score them. The raw notification text is processed in memory and thrown away immediately — it is never stored and never sent to our servers. Only the structured numbers we extract (payout, distance, time, zone) sync to your account.

What we collect

• Account info: email address, and whether you signed in with Google or a password.
• Precise location, only while you have an active shift running (Start Shift/End Shift), for mileage tracking. We do not track location in the background.
• App interaction and diagnostic data (crash logs, feature usage) to keep the app working.
• Purchase history, if you subscribe to Pro.
• The structured fields parsed from a platform notification you chose to score: payout, distance, duration, zone, and timestamp. Never the raw notification text, never a customer's name or address.

What we never collect

• Your gig-platform username, password, or any credential or session token for any platform. GigDriverProfit never asks for one.
• Raw notification text, on any tier, on any device, ever.
• Contacts, messages, camera or microphone access.

How we use it

To run the product: scoring your connected offers, tracking mileage during shifts you start, showing your earnings history, and billing your subscription. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising, and we run no advertising SDKs.

Your controls

Export or delete your data at any time from the app (Settings → Privacy & Data) or from the web at gigdriverprofit.com/delete-account.html.

GigDriverProfit is an independent third-party application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DoorDash, Amazon Flex, Uber, Walmart Spark, Instacart, or any other gig delivery platform.
